I listened to the ANNcast and the part about Vinland Saga broke my heart Huh… I don’t recall discussing Vinland in the last ANNcast. But readers should definitely support the Kodansha USA release. It is pretty!

Gundam the ORIGIN is pretty close to that mark. But one reason why I was considering the deluxe release for Vinland was mainly due to how our audience is accustomed to getting hard cover manga from us. Historically we do one or two a year. Our vendors also support making books like that, when the genre is right.

I’ve got a couple ideas for the future, but few titles are as awesome as Vinland.
