No longer referred to as "Omega Script" it will now be Omega 8.0
It actually has been in the dev stage for a couple of years; however, nothing really has been accomplished due to a lack of free time and no assisting developers.
Someday the new version will launch but until then, sadly, it will have to stay at 7.1 until that time comes.
If anyone experienced enough would like to step in and help co-develop 8.0, great. We are always looking helping hands (let us know!).

No problem. Honestly I can't wait for 8.0 to release. At least maybe a 7.2 lol...but chances are it will be 8.0 ...there is just an enormous amount of development that needs to go into it to make sure everything works properly with the new mirc shell.

Update, Omega Script 8.0 project was obviously canceled. The world of IRC has died compared to what it used to be therefore there wasn't enough demand for it. Simply moved on to other projects
