very-grownup:Decided to kick off the weekend with some major melancholy by finishing the first volume of Tezuka’s Message to Adolf which is as powerful and heartbreaking as one would expect. It’s almost seven hundred pages, so you have ample time to get used to Tezuka’s standard cast and style in this very real and dramatic work, which makes his breaking out more realistic looking characters all the more powerful and haunting.Amazing work from Vertical Inc. as usual.Going to need a breather before I crack the second volume. That last scene with Adolf Kaufmann and the other ‘impure’ boys. God.
