I was wondering what title you were planning on using for Ajin? SInce demi-human is kind of... odd sounding.

Hmm… Oh, the scan factor.

I don’t think it is confusing at all. As we noted in the previous entry, ajin in English is demi-human. We are waiting to hear from the author on the final title but generally we translate titles into English for the English market.

I will share a story, though…

I had someone come to my booth at KatsuCon XX looking for manga. He was flipping through a copy of Flowers of Evil and then asked… “Do you have Aku no Hana?” I said, “Yes, you have a copy in your hand.” He was perplexed and said, “I thought this looked like Aku no Hana, so I picked it up, but I guess you don’t have it in English.” He put it down and then left, after asking if we had PunPun… At that point I put on my Ramba Ral helmet and tears soaked my mustache.
