Something that really, truly is screaming out for a translat

Something that really, truly is screaming out for a translation is Hiroshi Aramata's 'Teito Monogatari.' Of course it's another work of prose, in multiple volumes, which is 25 years old at this point, so the challenge is probably even greater than a current title with a known fan base, but boy is it long overdue.

Actually, I think that is being translated by a circle already with permission from the author. I forget if they are or have tried crowd-funding it, though. I might be wrong, but I think a web search might turn up some info on this. But yeah, in the five years I’ve worked here that has not come up at all in any of our conversations. I am sure it is on the radar of our novel department, but for the reasons listed I don’t think it has been given any real consideration.
