Review:
Noir began airing in April 2001 and has easily become one of the most popular animes in Japan. The animation is extremely fluid and one of the most realistic looking in terms of movement with astonishing shadowing effects and detail. The music soundtrack can be explained in one word: awesome. Every instance has an appropriate piece of musical accompaniment. Voice acting is superb, even for the minor characters. This is easily one of the most beautiful anime I have yet seen in a long time. The story, though starting out slow, quickly engages the audience. The only quirks that it has, is what every anime set in another country other than Japan has; the characters, being in Europe, speak Japanese (-.-‘). I have also found that, a law for any anime; the size of the eyes is purely proportional to the sympathy that the viewers should have for the character. This is a highly recommendable anime.
